The Noir Burro is effortless, elevated, and endlessly wearable. Crafted from rich perforated suede for breathability and texture, it brings a modern edge to a timeless silhouette—complete with leather banding along the upper edge for a clean, finished look and feel.

Inside, a layer of breathable microsuede lines the upper and rests against your foot, with plush memory foam padding that cushions the top for a soft, secure fit. Underfoot, it’s built on our signature contoured Commbi footbed developed in collaboration with podiatrists—featuring arch support, a deep heel cup, and dual-layer memory foam that keeps you aligned and supported all day.

Fit & Care

Fit: Commbi slides and mules come in whole sizes (6, 7, 8, etc.). If between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Here's our more detailed recommendation:

  • Between a 7.5 and 8? Size up to Commbi size (8).
  • If you tend to run between a 7 and a 7.5 we would recommend getting a Commbi 7.

Care: Wipe clean or use a dry brush for extended longevity of your footbeds. Avoid washing your shoes or footbeds in the washer/dryer.

Care: Suede is a durable and long-lasting natural leather but is best maintained with a suede spray to help maintain your shoes. Spray the leather seal and let them rest overnight. Do not wash your shoes or footbeds in the washer/dryer.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping: We are excited to offer free standard shipping for all orders over $200 and on all orders shipped to the continental US. 

Returns & Exchanges: We will gladly accept returns on all full-priced items (except those marked “final sale”) within 21 days from the time of delivery, provided the item is in the same condition as received, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. When you try them on, please do it on carpet. If items are returned damaged or worn, they are subject to be sent back with no refund provided. Return shipping fees are covered in the return fee.

    Great shoe!

    Love these! I’m a 9.5 fit and ordered a 10 and they fit great. Super comfortable and the interchangeable foot bed is a game changer. My feet run warm but it’s nice on a colder day I can switch out for the shearling foot bed which I also ordered. 10/10

    Comfy and Sleek!

    Love these. Definitely my top pick for outfits. I enjoy the sherpa footbed with these for a sleeker slipper feel. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that they are pretty wide! Doesn't stop me from wearing them less though :)

    Love these! "Call me converted", says this 30 year fan of Birkenstocks

    I love these new shoes! Since buying The Woolie Burro, I have worn them every day, all day - walking the three dogs, running errands, and hanging out with friends in the city. They are now my official go-to shoe.

    Slightly heavier than Birkenstocks. Immediately comfortable. Most will agree that you need to work in your Birkenstocks for weeks before they are truly comfortable, but not Commbi.

    The Green Vegan Leather footbed is very cool. With or without socks these are comfy and not too hot.

    Plus with the ability to change the footbeds, it makes you feel like you have multiple styles which is wicked fun. Worth the price!
